The Tuning Mag network of sites is maintained by Rui Augusto, he run 2 of the sites and when he intended to expand the network to 5 sites, he asked for a unique desing for his wordpress blogs.

BMW Tuning Mag and Porsche Tuning Mag were the first sites on the network. On the last months he worked on Audi Tuning Mag, Mercedes Tuning Mag and VW tuning Mag. The websites publish press-releases of major tuners from all over the world. A video section, gallery and link section is also present in each of the sites.

The theme is pretty much the same, only some colors change to make each of the sites unique. He also had some good art work done by “gonças” for the sites with the toon-like car logo.

Adsense was blended to the theme and also some space was saved for advertiser banners. AuctionAds was the other affiliate program that was integrated on the design.

One of the things he wanted to implement was the automatic thumbnail display of the picture in each press release on the first page. The sidebar was also inspired on Sodelicious theme.
